MahaDBT Scholarship 2025
This Scholarship aims to ensure equitable access to education and uplift the sociol-conomic status of deserving students. MahaDBT is designed to provide various scholarships, subsidies and other financial benefits to eligible students and the citizens of Maharashtra.
MahaDBT covers various departments including Social Justice, Tribal Development, and the Minority Development and others. MahaDBT is also known as Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer.
How to do registration for the MahaDBT Scholarship 2025 ?
To complete the registration for the MahaDBT Scholarship 2025. Candidates need to follow some steps. Here are some steps listed below –
- Log in to the MahaDBT Scholarship Portal.
- Enter the user name and the password in the required field.
- Enter you Aadhar Card number.
- Click to the Submit Button.
- Fill up the information regarding the contact details.
- Enter your Email ID and the Mobile number.
- An OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number which you have to enter in the OTP box.
- Create your New password and Log in again.
- Your account will be made on the official website of MahaDBT Scholarship Portal.
Registration for Non-Aadhar Card Candidates
- Click on New Applicant Registration
- New Registration will be displayed on your screen (For Non-Aadhar Card Candidates).
- Enter the required details such as name, date of birth, father name etc.
- Upload the necessary documents as per asked in the field.
- Upload the required photo asked in the Portal
How to apply online for the MahaDBT Scholarship?
Candidates who are applying for the MahaDBT scholarship must follow the steps are given below –
- Visit to the official website of the MahaDBT Scholarship at mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in
- Go to the New Applicant Registration link.
- Fill up the candidate Aadhar card number in the required field.
- Enter the mobile number where you will receive the One time Password (OTP).
- Fill the OTP in the required field to verify the number and continue and all the registered information will be displayed on your monitor screen.
- If the candidates does not have the Aadhar Card, they will have to fill the details manually.
- Next, candidates must create a username and the password for the MahaDBT Scholarship 2024-2025.
- Enter your mobile number and password and verify it.
- Go to the login and enter the credentials.
- Fill up the Captcha shown on the screen and submit it
- On the Scholarship dashboard of the MahaDBT portal, all the eligible scholarship will be displayed.
- Fill up the required details from the profile section.
- Fill up the required details such as bank details, educational qualification, address etc.
- Upload the scanned copy of the required documents on the portal of MahaDBT.
- Login Dashboard, click on the apply button to apply for the MahaDBT Scholarship 2024-2025

- Visit to the official MahaDBT scholarship portal
- Then go to “Student registration” tab
- Select your location in Maharashtra
- Fill and complete all the required details and click “Submit”
- Download your login credentials
- Log in using your credentials
- Fill in the remaining details, including bank information
- Click “Save and Proceed”
- Click “Verify and Lock” to lock in your information
- Print the application form
What are the eligibility criteria for the MahaDBT Scholarship ?
- To get benefits from the MahaDBT Scholarship, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria for the Scholarship –
- The Candidates must be the resident of Maharashtra by birth.
- The family income of the student should be 2,50,000 rupees or less.
- In this Scholarship candidates are allowed to choose only two professional courses.
- For Candidates who are studying outside Maharashtra the same rules apply as per the Government of India rules and regulations.
- Candidates should have passed SSC or an equivalent matriculation exam.
- Candidate must belong to the category of Scheduled Cast or Neo Buddhist.
- If the Candidates fail for the first time, they are still eligible for the exam fees and the maintenance allowance. If they fail the same class second or the third time, they will no longer eligible for any allowance.
